One of the biggest events in the history of Star Wars comics is going on right now and you need to be reading it. If you’re not sure where to start, though, we’ve put together this War of the Bounty Hunters reading order which should help you figure out what to read and which issues to look out for next.

Charles Soule, the author of The High Republic’s Light of the Jedi, is the man behind the main entries in the War of the Bounty Hunters event, but there’s so much more you’ll need to get stuck into if you want to know everything about this major Star Wars event that’s unfolding right now!

What Is War Of The Bounty Hunters All About?

War of the Bounty Hunters, to put it plainly, is exactly what it says on the tin. Of course, there’s more to it than that. However, if you like Star Wars’ selection of Bounty Hunters from the Imperial era… You’re in luck.

War of The Bounty Hunters Alpha Spoilers Ahead

War of the Bounty Hunters primarily follows the Galaxy’s deadliest man, Boba Fett, as he deals with the complications of delivering Han Solo in a block of Carbonite to Jabba the Hutt. After noticing an issue with the Carbon Freezing process, Boba Fett heads to Nar Shaddaa for some help. The Smuggler’s Moon is a dangerous place, even for Boba Fett and he is soon roped into a deal by Doc Ragon, the doctor tasked with saving Han Solo from “turning into goo”.

Of course, Han Solo is a valuable man to more than just Jabba the Hutt and he is stolen from the dead hands of Doc Ragon while Boba Fett is away completing his end of the bargain. Jabba the Hutt is furious and Boba Fett knows he could be next on the chopping block if he doesn’t fix this mess. It’s about more than the money, now. Boba Fett hasn’t stayed alive this long by upsetting Jabba the Hutt. The War of the Bounty Hunters begins with Han Solo missing and Boba Fett desperate to find out who’s got the guts to take him on.
