Games With Gold February 2021 Offers 5 Free Titles
Gears 5 – Feb 1 to Feb 28
Gears 5 is the latest main instalment in the Gears of War franchise, recently getting a secondary campaign addition for free. Hivebusters is a six-chapter narrative that follows Team Scorpio in a prequel to the Gears of War: Hivebusters comic book series.
It won the Xbox Game of the Year award at the Golden Joysticks 2019 and the Best Xbox One Game in 2019 from Gamescon. On launch, it became the biggest launch for Xbox Game Pass, too. More than 3 million players played it during it’s first week.

Resident Evil – Feb 1 to Feb 28
The original Resident Evil game is arguably one of the best. It originally released for PlayStation in 1996, but now you can play it on your Xbox Series X|S for free thanks to Games with Gold!
With the recent announcements at the Resident Evil Showcase, it’s the perfect time to return to where it all began and fight off the undead with Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine. As the first game to be dubbed a Survival Horror, expect this to be one to play with the lights on!

Indiana Jones and The Emperor’s Tomb – Feb 1 to Feb 15
Acting as a prequel to Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, this adventure follows everyone’s favourite History Professor turned Archaeologist Adventurer in an exciting hunt for the Heart of the Dragon. You’ll come up against Nazis, Gestapo Agents, and even the Kraken? Well, we all know Indiana Jones can get a bit hectic.
With Lucasfilm Games recently announcing their plan to develop a brand-new Indiana Jones game, it’s the perfect time to throw-back to this classic Indy adventure!

Lost Planet 2 – Feb 16 to 28
Lost Planet 2 is a third-person shooter with both a fantastic single-player campaign, with co-op options, and an addictive multiplayer. Boss Fights, Mech Suits, and battling in the extreme terrains of Lost Planet all return in this sequel to make for an exciting, action-packed, experience.
There’s no word on whether this will include all the additional content that originally released for Lost Planet 2, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t worth giving a go!

Dandara: Trials of Fear Edition – Feb 16 – Mar 15
Based on the real-life Brazillian freedom fighter, Dandara is a tactical 2D roguelike platformer that is all about puzzle-solving and outmanoeuvring your opponents.
What makes Dandara unique is the fact that the only way the player can traverse the world within is by jumping between the specially indicated wall-sections. This makes gameplay fast, furious, and a lot of fun.
