Fortnite: How to register for DreamHack July 2021

DreamHack is finally back, after taking a break last month, once again giving players the opportunity to compete in Cash Cups and an Open tournament that will see players compete for their share of a $200,000 prize pool.

Here is everything you need to know about the next DreamHack tournament.

When Is The DreamHack Tournament This Month?

DreamHack Open won’t be returning until August, but they will be hosting Cash Cup Extras throughout the rest of July 2021 that all players can take part in.

All players will be able to take part in a Cash Cup Extra on Monday, July 19th, this will be in the Trios format and on the Europe and NA-East servers.

The top 132 Trios from the July 19th tournament will then be invited to take part in the Cash Cup Extra #5 on Wednesday, July 21st to win their share of the prize pool.

How To Take Part?

Players don’t need to sign up for DreamHack tournaments, instead they can be found in the Compete section of the in-game lobby.

Schedule And Prize Pool

The Cash Cup Extra tournaments will take place on July 19th and 21st at 7-10 pm CEST for the Europe tournament, and 6-9 pm EST for the NA-East tournament.

Format

DreamHack Cash Cup Extra will be a Trios tournament, with the top 132 players from July 19th moving onto the July 21st finals.

Each elimination will be worth 6 points and players will have 3 hours to play a maximum of 10 matches.

DreamHack Open will return for a four-round tournament, running on August 11th, 12th, 18th, and 19th, with the top players taking home their share of a $200,000 prize pool.

There will also be another Cash Cup Extra taking place on August 23rd and 25th, likely following the same format above.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 is in full swing, with the season now being in its sixth week. The season will run until September 12th, giving players just under 2 months before Season 8 begins.

NBA legend LeBron James is set to come to Fortnite on July 14th, with Space Jam and King Jame themed skins being added to the Item Shop.

The week 6 challenges will also be going live on July 14th for the Legendary Quests, and July 15th for the Epic Quests, check out the challenges below.

Week 6 Epic Quests

  • Collect Bars (500)
  • Spend Bars (500)
  • Destroy equipment on top of Abductors (3)
  • Open chests or ammo boxes in low-gravity areas (3)
  • Deploy Alien Nanites anywhere other than Holly Hatchery (3)
  • Destroy Alien trees (5)
  • Plant saplings at Stumpy Ridge, Fork Knife Food Truck, or FN Radio (3)

Each Epic Quest is worth 30,000 XP, giving a total of 210,000 XP, or around 2 and a half levels of the Battle Pass.

Week 6 Legendary Quests

  • Get Slone’s orders from a Payphone (1)
  • Place Prepper Supplies in Hayseed’s Farm (1)
  • Deal damage to opponents in farms (25)
  • Use an Inflate-A-Bull (1)
  • Place cow decoys in farms (3)
  • Damage an alien-driven Saucer (25)

In total, players can earn 180,000 XP by completing the week 5 Legendary Quests, or just over 2 levels towards finishing off the Battle Pass. But, be fast because these challenges are only available until Wednesday, July 21st before they will disappear.
