The final day of the League Of Legends MSI 2022 Rumble Stage is here. With the final two spots up for grabs between Evil Geniuses, G2 Esports, and PSG Talon, who’s going to take them?

Will it be the two teams from the west, or will it be a mix of the two, with G2 Esports potentially looking from the outside after losing six games in a row?

With Royal Never Give Up so far in the lead for first place, will they get complacent and drop a game to either T1 or PSG Talon, giving their opponent in the Knock-out stage a way to beat them? It all finishes up today.

The Kock-Out Stage Is Set

After all the dust settled on the day, the semi-finals, or the Kock-Out Stage, were set. Royal Never Give Up, T1, G2 Esports, and Evil Geniuses all are moving on. The two teams heading home at the end of the day are PSG Talon and Saigon Buffalo.

Saigon Buffalo entered the day with the main reason to play spoiler for the other teams, such as G2 Esports and PSG Talon who had ways that they could make it into the Knock-Out stage themselves.

For Evil Geniuses, the only way that their spot in the next stage was in question, as if they lost to PSG Talon. Fans of North American teams in the past thought they knew how the game would go, with the team chocking in the final stretch, but that didn’t happen, with them beating PSG Talon and moving on.

Prior to Evil Geniuses making it out of groups, the last time a North American team made it out was back in 2019 when Team Liquid made it all the way to the finals, only to lose to G2 Esports. To make it back to the finals, Evil Geniuses have to beat Royal Never Give Up, the defending MSI champion.

The next stage in the League Of Legends MSI 2022 tournament, the Knock-Out stage, starts on Friday, May 27th with the first place Royal Never Give Up taking on the fourth place Evil Geniuses. The best of three series will start at 1 AM PST/ 4 AM EST/ 9 AM BST, and it can all be watched at lolesports.com.
