The hardest group on paper right now just looking at the draws, is more likely Group A, with 2021 World Champion Damwon Kia and 2021 World Champion Funplus Phoenix, as well as the third seed from the LEC, Rogue.

For those fans of North America, 100 Thieves and Team Liquid landing where they did, and avoiding the powerhouses in the forms of Funplus Phoenix and Damwon Gaming is a good sign to start to have hope of making it out of the group stage, something that has eluded the region for a long time.

The start date for the Worlds 2022 group stage is October 11th.
