The Esports Awards: All about esports’ biggest night

The Esports Awards Show

Every November, various members of the esports industry including coaches, players, on-air talent, and creatives come together for the Esports Awards: a showcase of top-class performance and innovation from various stakeholders in the esports industry.

A small list of the awards handed out at the ceremony includes the Esports Team of the Year award, the Esports Coach of the Year award, the Esports Host of the Year award, and the Esports Commerical Partner of the Year award.

When and where are the Esports Awards?

The show is set to take place on Saturday, November 20th. The Esports Stadium Arlington in Arlington, Texas will host the award ceremony.

How are the award winners decided?

Deciding on the award winners is a months-long process. It begins with a period where the public can nominate members of the industry who they believe are deserving of acknowledgement.

After the submission period is over, a panel of well-respected industry professionals come together to discuss the public nominations and come up with a shortlist of finalists for each category.

Now all that is left to do is to determine the award winners. Award winners are determined through input from the aforementioned panels as well as a fan vote from the broader esports community.

Voting is currently open for all fans who wish to have their voice heard on the matter of 2021’s award winners. Fans can vote on the awards over at The Esports Awards website.
