Free Discord Nitro from Epic Games Store!

In a surprise collaboration between Epic Games and the popular messaging application, Discord, you can get three months of free Discord Nitro! Here’s what you need to know about eligibility and how to redeem the subscription.

How to Redeem Free Discord Nitro

Well, it’s honestly pretty simple. Epic Games’ website, provided you have an account, of course, will allow you to redeem the subscription on the right of the page.

Provided your Epic Games and Discord accounts are registered to the same email address, you should receive an email a few minutes after going through the website. After that, following the email link to Discord will let you set up a payment method to continue the subscription after the three months, provided you don’t cancel before then of course.

If you’ve not purchased Discord Nitro before or don’t have a currently active gifted subscription, you should be able to redeem your free Discord Nitro. It mentioned excluding gifted subscriptions when I was researching, but when I tried it myself, I was able to redeem the Nitro. Seems like you just had to have not purchased it before or have an ACTIVE gift subscription.

I know friends of mine had concerns over needing to install the Epic Games client, and I was unsure as well. Thankfully, as long as you have both accounts already, the entire process can be done via Internet browser. No need to get the Epic Games Launcher!

The offer began on June 10th at 11AM EDT and will run until June 24th at 10:59 AM EDT. Upon recieving your code, it must be redeemed on your Discord account by July 24th at the same time.
