New Apex Legends Bocek Bow details revealed

Following the new Arenas Gameplay Trailer from Respawn entertainment, we got a brand new look at the Bocek Bow and how it will play in Apex Legends.

LATEST – Bocek Bow Hop-Ups Announced

In the trailer below, we got a brand new look at the lethal Bocek Bow in action. On top general gameplay, though, we also learnt that it will have two Hop-Ups available at launch.

Shatter Caps

This Hop-Up is going to turn the Bocek Bow into a shotgun-type weapon by splitting each shot. This will make it lethal at close ranges and help you if your aim isn’t quite what it used to be!

Deadeye’s Tempo

This is going to allow for a shorter draw time and increase your rate of fire, however, you’ll need to be ready to let loose! This should make offensive, close-quarters combat much more viable with the Bocek Bow.

You can check both of these out and the whole Arenas mode in the trailer below:

We got our first look at Apex Legends’ next season in the latest Stories from the Outlands short from Respawn Entertainment. Titled “Northstar”, the cinematic short introduced a new Legend to the Apex Games and further showcased Kuben Blisk’s new and updated look. It’s the start of the “more Titanfall content” we were promised and it’s certainly got people talking.

One thing that was semi-revealed though is the next weapon to be joining Apex Legends: the Bocek Bow.

Apex Legends Bocek Bow Is Game-Changer

The Bocek Bow is unlike anything Apex Legends has seen before and it’s bound to be a game-changing pick-up in the right hands. At the moment, though… We only know what we can see in the tweet from TitanfallBlog below with the following description.

” A powerful and deadly weapon, for those with the skill to wield it. Capable of inflicting tremendous damage at medium range, you’ll need to make each shot count.”

As you might imagine, this weapon is going to have significant projectile drop and a difficult firing arc to master. It also, presumably, will introduce a new Ammo type to the game.

Although, there’s no word on the possibility of Arrows so maybe it will be a Supply Drop exclusive weapon when it is introduced in the next update.

Either way, anyone who’s played Apex knows that anything using Sniper Ammo already suffers from a pretty substantial projectile drop. This is just going to make those long-range kills all the more difficult to pull off. (And all the more exciting when they land!)
