Treyarch is trying to do a lot with Black Ops Cold War and the next playlist update is just one facet of this. We’re always excited to see an old game mode return to the fray, but this new playlist update sounds like it’s going to take things a little too far.

12 v 12 Nuketown ’84

Yes, you’re reading that right. If you thought Nuketown ’84 was already a sh*tshow before, it’s about to become unbearable.

Black Ops Cold War’s smallest 6v6 map, which has become synonamous with Sniper Rifle combat and spawn-camping, is going to be available in a 12 v 12 playlist. It’s already crowded at the best of times, but the new 12v12 Moshpit playlist is going to include all the 6v6 maps that are currently available on Black Ops Cold War.

Black Ops Cold War May 13 Playlist Update

As for the complete Playlist Update, 12 v 12 isn’t the only thing being added to the game.

The May 13th update includes a new Gunfight Tournament, like last week, and it looks like the Party Games playlist is sticking around.

12 v 12 Moshpit is obviously the highlight, but Party Games offers a nice break from the intensity of the standard Black Ops Cold War multiplayer and a new Gunfight Tournament is a little bit of welcome news if you want to try your hand at a more competitive experience.
