We’re still waiting for news on Black Ops Cold War & Warzone Season 3, but the next 2XP Weekend is here to keep us busy.
A Double XP Weekend for Black Ops Cold War and Warzone is a truly wonderful thing. Not only does it help with levelling up weapons, something that is extremely useful in Warzone if you’re looking to change up your loadouts, but it’s also good for just levelling in general.
Although hitting the next Prestige isn’t as important in Call of Duty anymore, there’s still a few rewards worth chasing.
Anyway, here’s when you can start the grind in Warzone (and Black Ops Cold War) and get on that Double XP Weekend.
LATEST – Next 2XP Weekend Revealed
Treyarch has just announced that the next 2XP Weekend is coming to Black Ops Cold War as a four-day XP extravaganza!
You can check out when you can play in the Tweet below. If not, it starts on April 8th at 10:00 PST until April 12th at 10:00 PST.
There’s no word as to whether this will apply to Warzone yet too, but we’re expecting it will do as they always operate simultaneously and utilise shared progression.
Expired – Next 2XP Weekend In Warzone
As pointed out in the Tweet below, the next 2XP Weekend for Warzone is starting on March 26th and will run until March 29th.
In addition to this, PlayStation players get an addition 24-hours of 2XP starting on March 25th.

As for timings, we’re expecting things to go live when the Warzone in-game store refreshes at 18:00 GMT.
Unlike the Double XP Weekend at the start of Season Two, this 2XP Weekend features 2XP, Double Weapon XP, and Double Battle Pass XP!

If you’re struggling to get to Tier 100, you still have a fair bit of time left but this will help you a lot.
Best Place To Use This
We know you’re here for Warzone, but this isn’t actually the best way to earn Battle Pass XP and Weapon XP.
Shipment 24/7 or Nuketown 24/7 on Modern Warfare (or Black Ops Cold War) are the two best Multiplayer playlists to grind out on a 2XP Weekend.
Alternatively, there’s always Black Ops Cold War’s Outbreak mode. This endless Zombies mode offers a fantastic opportunity to grind your Weapon XP without as much threat as a standard Zombies game would bring.
Of course, Warzone is still great if you want the most rounded experience. You can level up multiple weapons from both Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War in Call of Duty’s Battle Royale just through standard gameplay.
