Zombie Finishing Move coming to Black Ops Cold War – It’s crazy, really

Where Raven Software and Modern Warfare 2019 chose realism, Treyarch and Black Ops Cold War chose mind-bending mazes and Giant Tentacle Monsters hiding as Chopper Gunners. Now, it looks like a Zombie Finishing Move is coming to Black Ops Cold War in a future Store Bundle and we don’t even know how to feel.
Is The Zombie Finishing Move The Wildest Yet?
Yes. There’s your answer.
But, seriously… Imagine the scenes. It’s the Final Circle on Verdansk ’84. You’re the last one alive in your squad and you have a Precision Airstrike. The situation is begging for a clutch finish and a win for your team. You open up your Targetting Binoculars, aim at the ground… Annnnnnnd you get Five-Star Frogsplashed by a f*cking corpse. It sounds as frustrating as it does too hilarious to be annoyed at.
If you’re looking forward to playing as Grigori Weaver in Black Ops Cold War or Warzone, you should also look forward to calling in a zombie to humiliate your opponents. Arguably, it’s more worth the 2400 COD Points than the Weaver skin!

If CallOfDutyLeakz‘ Tweet gets deleted, then there’s probably a good reason for that. However, you can imagine what happens… Weaver kneels down and a Zombie leaps from offscreen to body-slam the enemy and take a chunk out of their neck. It’s as graceful as it is messy. It’s a sight to behold. It’s something we can imagine we’re going to see a lot of going forwards.
When Does It Come Out?
Well, here’s the thing… We don’t actually know just yet. The Zombie Finishing Move is going to be a part of the Tracer Pack: Weaver Operator Bundle that’s slated to arrive “in season” following the Season 4 Reloaded update.
The Season 4 Reloaded content, including the new Zombies map, is due to go live at 21:00 PST (July 14) / 00:00 EST / 05:00 BST on July 15th. However, we don’t think we’re going to see Grigori Weaver make an appearance until at least a week from now. If anything, it could be two weeks until we start seeing the Zombie Finishing Move pop up.

More often than not, Treyarch updates their in-game Store with new Operator Bundles and Weapon Blueprint Bundles on Thursdays during the Playlist Refresh. This means, if it isn’t coming at the same time as the Season 4 Reloaded content, we’re going to see it on July 22nd at the earliest.
