After releasing a beefy set of Patch Notes earlier today, CDPR has just dropped the new Cyberpunk 2077 update without any forewarning of when it was actually coming.

Cyberpunk 2077 got off to a rocky start, to say the least. It was marred with graphical glitches and performance issues to an extent that even got it removed from the PS Store!

Despite the fact that it hasn’t actually been added back yet, we could be seeing it return to the PS Store soon now that Patch 1.2 is out.

New Cyberpunk 2077 Update

We’re not about to list every single update included in the new Cyberpunk 2077 update because there’s a f**k-ton of them. The patch notes are over 8,000 words long and include hundreds of alterations which are all focused on bug-fixing and performance enhancements across the board.

In addition to this, though, one of the more interesting points in the whole document is that Ray-Tracing features are being enabled for PC players with AMD Graphics Drivers.

Sadly, though, this is limited to PC versions of Cyberpunk 2077. We’ll have to wait for a next-gen native port of the game before we see this on consoles.

Even still, the Patch 1.2 patch notes is one of the largest set of patch notes we’ve seen in a long time, but it was very-much needed.

Following the cyberattack on CDPR’s internal servers, Cyberpunk’s Patch 1.2 was delayed a month and has now released on both PC and consoles.

A version of the update on Google Stadia is due to drop later this week, too, so don’t worry!
