It’s time to celebrate the month of spooks and Halloween with a Destiny 2 event. Unlike other events, Destiny 2’s Festival of the Lost isn’t all about zombies and pumpkins. In keeping with Destiny 2’s impenetrable self-contained world, the Festival of the Lost is all about remembering lost Guardians and celebrating the light found in Darkness. It feels fresh, but also entirely familiar. Thankfully, it isn’t just lore-based. There are bounties to complete during the FOTL and here’s how you can start working towards those limited-time event rewards.
How to complete FOTL bounties in Destiny 2?
If you’re a veteran Guardian, you’ll know how bounties work in Destiny 2. If not, allow us to explain…
Bounties are vendor-based side missions in Destiny 2 that you can pick up alongside any main missions and objectives to earn a few more rewards for your troubles. They often vary in the challenge they offer – and their rewards – so they’re worth checking out both during the FOTL event and after.

To make things even easier, you don’t even need to return to the vendor you picked up your bounties from in order to “cash in” on them. All you need to do is open the Quests tab of your Director and you should find your bounties there with rewards ready to claim.
During the FOTL event, the following bounties are on offer for you to complete:
- Weekly Bounty x2
- Daily Bounty x4
- Additional Bounties
We expect there to be two more Weekly Bounties for players to tackle next week – and the final week of the FOTL event. Each of these will reward Guardians with XP, Bright Dust, Glimmer, and Candy – which is used for event-limited rewards.

If you want to tackle and complete bounties related to the FOTL event – which will help you get all the limited-time rewards on offer – you’re going to need to find Eva Levante. You’ll be able to find her in the Tower Courtyard – you’ll be introduced to Levante when you first start to participate in the FOTL event, so you shouldn’t have any trouble finding her.
