Members of the Fortnite community and professional players are calling for a racist pro to be banned from the game and removed from tournaments.

Fortnite pro Sin3278 has been exposed for being openly “racist and proud”, as well as posting videos to social media where he shows off his gun collection that he wants to use on black people.

Other pro players including Nexy have taken to social media to voice their disgust at his actions as well as call for Epic Games to ban the player saying,

“crazy how @Sin3278 kid is allowed to play in grands after tweeting this”

Sin recently qualified for the upcoming Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 FNCS Grand Finals alongside his duo partner Acro after having come in sixth place during Semi-Finals Heat 3, clinching the final qualification spot of the tournament.

Now, Sin will be going on to compete this weekend for his share of a $3 million prize pool, with the winners of the NA-East region walking away with $65,000 each. Even last place earns $500, meaning that the alleged racist player will walk away from the tournament with guaranteed cash.

Because of this, many players and pros are now asking Epic Games to remove Sin from the tournament, which would also eliminate his teammate Acro.

Following the allegations from the community, Acro has publicly denounced Sin’s racist outbursts saying,

“Regards to everything happening right now, I do not associate with anything sin has said and do not agree with it. Whether it’s him or not I do not support it at all. I will never be associating with him again and I hope you all understand I have no control over anything. Sorry.”

Following up with a second tweet stating that,

“And I know I’m getting disqualified most likely but it is what it is I deserved this and got it taken from me because my team mate did something reckless. I know the things he said are disgusting.”

As of publication, Epic Games hasn’t given any statement regarding Sin’s actions nor whether he will be removed from the upcoming FNCS Grand Finals, but if that changes we will update this accordingly.
