Fortnite: How to register for DreamHack May 2021

It is almost time for the next Fortnite DreamHack tournament after the last one was cancelled for undisclosed reasons.
Each month, DreamHack are teaming up with Fortnite to bring a new tournament for a prize pool of $200,000, and it is open to everyone to participate and try and take home a share of the pot.
Here is how to register and take part in DreamHack X Fortnite May 2021.
When Is The Next Tournament?
The next DreamHack tournament starts right now, so find your partner and start securing those Victory Royales.
DreamHack recently tweeted all of the dates for the upcoming tournament.
The dates are as follows;
- May 5th – EU and NAE Heat 1
- May 6th – EU Heat 2, NAE Semi-Finals
- May 19th – EU Semi-Finals, NAE Finals
- May 20th – EU Finals
Format
The format for the DreamHack tournament will be Duos, meaning you need to find a partner to compete in the event.

How to register for DreamHack Fortnite May 2021
Players don’t need to register to take part in the event.
Simply head to the Compete tab in the in-game lobby and find the tournament and start playing.
Prize Pool
The prize pool for each tournament will be $200,000 split across both regions.
Here is a breakdown of how the winnings are shared between placement and regions.
Cash Cup Extra
The top teams from the upcoming May 10th Trios Cash Cup will be invited to compete in the DreamHack Cash Cup Extra.
