The Fortnite X UEFA Euro 2020 Cup will take place on June 16th and 17th and will see players across the world compete to earn prize money and in-game rewards.

In a press release, UEFA detailed what players can expect from the upcoming tournament,

“Over the course of two days, eligible Fortnite players around the world will be able to compete across two rounds, where they will have the opportunity to earn valuable points along the way. The top-performing players will be able to earn prize money as well as in-game rewards.”

“Fans should keep an eye out for upcoming announcements on Fortnite.com, including further details of how to participate in the Cup as well as more information regarding the prizes to be won.”

Fortnite is no stranger to collaboration with the biggest sports and entertainment entities, with partnerships including the NFL and NBA, as well as two previous soccer collaborations which brought the once feared “Soccer Skins” to the game.

As of right now there has been no blog post by Epic Games, but we’re expecting it to be released soon, which will detail the prize money involved as well as the rewards that can be earnt.

Typically in the past we’ve seen the tournaments be laid out so the points needed to secure the in-game rewards are low so most players will be able to receive them, even if they’re unable to earn prize money.
