New Fortnite Season 7 event announced for next week

A Fortnite event is one of the best part of any season, with them usually taking place at the beginning or end of a season to help set up the changes that will be made to the game in the coming weeks.
Chapter 2 Season 6 saw the first-ever start of season event, where Agent Jones and the Fortnite characters went to war on the map before Jones confronted The Foundation, the fourth member of The Seven.
Sadly, we didn’t get an end of season event, or a start of season event for Season 7, which brought aliens and UFOs to the game.
But, that is set to change as Epic Games has announced the latest Fortnite event and it will be taking place next week.
New Fortnite Event Announced
In a tweet, Epic Games announced the next Fortnite event, which will take place on Tuesday, June 22nd at 9 am EST/2 pm BST.

When: June 22 at 9AM ET
Where: Believer Beach
Believer Beach is the new name for Sweaty Sands, which can be found on the north west portion of the map and now has an alien theme as residents of the island eagerly await the arrival of the aliens.
Could we finally get a glimpse of these aliens and find out what they want from us next week? We hope so.

Thanos Is Coming To Fortnite
Three years after the first Thanos LTM, and even after an entirely Marvel-themed season, the Mad Titan is finally coming to Fortnite next week.
On June 21st, players will have the chance to take part in the Thanos Cup, which will see the top scoring players earn the skin for free. The rest of the players will then be able to purchase the Thanos skin from the Item Shop on Saturday, June 26th.
In a blog post, Epic Games announced the Thanos Cup and what players can expect.
“Three years after his LTM debut in Fortnite, Thanos arrives in the Item Shop for the very first time. Beginning at 8pm ET on June 26, 2021, you can play as the Mad Titan himself, even equipping the Infinity Gauntlet Back Bling inspired by Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame – completed with all six Infinity Stones.”
“Grab your Duos partner and compete in up to 10 total matches in 3 hours to earn as many points as you can. The top-performing teams in each region will earn the Thanos Outfit and Back Bling inspired by Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame. For anyone who earns 8 total points, you’ll receive the Thanos Watches! Spray.”
