Genshin Impact 1.6 Leaks: Kazuha’s Release, a New Boss, and a Klee Rerun?

As Genshin Impact’s version 1.5 gets closer and closer to release, new leaks regarding its version 1.6 start to surface.

This time, leaker @GenshinReport, in a series of posts, revealed a few new details about the upcoming version, which may feature a new boss, a Klee rerun, a new event, and a new system.

A Klee Rerun, and a New Festival

According to @GenshinReport, based on datamined information, speculation, and more, Klee will star on the first banner of Genshin Impact’s version 1.6, which may premiere on June 9th. This will mark her first rerun since her first appearance in the game’s version 1.0.

The leaker also said that The Ludi Harpastum Festival, a new event centered in Mondstadt, will also take place together with Klee’s banner and will conclude on June 24.

Kazuha’s Release, and a New Boss

Also according to the leaker, Kazuha’s banner will be released on June 30. Players will meet Kazuha as they travel with the Crux Fleet to Inazuma’s border, in a mission that will also mark the first appearance of Beidou in the game’s main story. 

The mission will have players face 3 bosses. Including the upcoming boss ”Maguu Kenki”, which you can see below, courtesy of @lumie_lumie.

After the fight, players will receive a new namecard in celebration of the new chapter on their journey.

A New Boat Mechanic

Also according to the leaker, once players get into the new region, they will make use of a new boating mechanic to travel to the adjacent islands.

Genshin Impact is currently available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, mobile devices – Android, iOS – and PC, via miHoYo’s official launcher.

A native version for the game for the PlayStation 5 is coming together with the new version and will feature improved graphics, framerate, and faster loading times. A new version of the game for the Nintendo Switch is also reportedly in development.
