Genshin Impact 2.0: How to get the Hamayumi bow

The most recent version of Genshin Impact brought many new items to the game, and among them is the new Hamayumi bow. Previously know as the Demon-Slayer Bow, people initially thought that this weapon wasn’t available yet, but after a few days of exploring Inazuma, the blueprint was finally found.

The reason for that wasn’t people being lazy, but the blueprint being actually time-gated. So if you really want this bow, go for it right now! The sidequest is quite easy.

How to find the Hamayumi Bow

The blueprint can be found in the middle island, Kannazuka. To get it, you must talk with Takashi in front of his shell-shaped house, in which you’ll see 3 treasure chests.

When you talk with him, he’ll ask you for 3 Mysterious Conches. You can find them near Takashi, on the very same beach. You can possibly find more than 3 each day, so try to get as many as you can.

When you gather all 3, deliver the conches to him and he’ll let you open one of his chests. You must do this for 7 days to get the bow blueprint. You can only open one chest per day, and the bow is only guaranteed in the seventh chest you open.

Note that you don’t necessarily need to open them in a row, so don’t worry if you couldn’t do it on a specific day. Also, it doesn’t matter which chest you opened, so go for whichever you want.

The recipe for the Hamayumi bow uses a Northlander Bow Billet, 50 of both Amethyst Lump and White Iron Chunk and 500 Mora. It’s a great bow for characters that rely on their normal or charged attacks, such as Childe, Ganyu, Fischl (built as main DPS) and, in a near future, Yoimiya and Aloy.
