Genshin Impact 2.1 leaks: Baal gameplay videos and interactions
Leaks for the next Genshin Impact archon, the Raiden Shogun, also known as Baal, are here, and we can have a better look at her gameplay through those new videos. Many interactions are featured, including some with a certain alcoholic bard.
Baal will be featured in the first banner of the 2.1 version, possibly along with the new 4-star character Kujou Sara. Her gameplay will be centered around using your team’s Elemental Bursts and recharging all the spent energy really fast. As you spend energy, her own Burst becomes stronger, making the new Emblem of Severed Fate artifact set a perfect fit for her.

The first video shows her interactions with other popular 5-star characters, Venti and Ganyu, and gives us an idea of how we can use her Elemental Skill.

We can see how her Skill will work with both of these characters’ Bursts, giving some nice interactions. When we also consider that her skill can be used indefinitely (lasts for 25s and has a cooldown of 10s), it becomes even more powerful. She was also recently buffed in the beta, and her scalings are stronger.
Next, we have her fighting the Pyro Regisvine, a courtesy from the Daily Baal Twitter account, since the Youtube video was taken down by miHoYo.
The damage by itself is not one of the highest we’ve seen, but in this Reddit thread in which the video originated, people have noticed that this footage comes from before her buffs. She also seems to have weak artifacts and possibly low leveled Talents, which makes us wonder how big her true potential will be.

This video, courtesy from the known leaker Dimbreath, firstly shows how she would fight alone against a small group of enemies with both her plunge and normal attacks.
It also shows how both of the characters will work together, and how Baal is similar in gameplay to Keqing when using her Sword (accessible after using her Burst). With the Electro Resonance increasing the Energy generated when you create an Electro-based reaction, this will be a good duo when Baal arrives.
Genshin Impact is currently on its 2.0 version, “The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia”, that brought the region of Inazuma to the game, along with many new enemies, characters, weapons and areas to explore.
You can play the game for free on mobile devices, Playstation 4, Playstation 5 and Pcs on both miHoYo’s official launcher and Epic Games Store. A Nintendo Switch version is stated to be in development.
