New leaked footage for the 2.3 update of Genshin Impact just arrived, and includes the future character Arataki Itto fighting the new event boss, a giant Whopperflower simply called “Fel”.

The video was provided by Wafell and published on the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor Discord, and serves both as a preview to what we’ll encounter during the next events, and to how Itto will play in a real combat situation. And boy, this one can pack a punch.

Watch Itto fighting the new event boss

At the first sight, the boss fights just like a regular Whopperflower. But when it starts to get serious, it will start to throw giant snowballs at you, so beware. This is similar to the regular Cryo Whopperflower but on a much larger scale.

The star of the new boss video is Itto since we can see him fighting a real enemy this time. We can see how useful his Elemental Burst is in a real fight, and when he starts to charge at the flower, we see what he’s capable of.

He starts to viciously attack his enemy without stopping. His Burst grants him Geo infusion and allows him to smash everything in his way in a true berserker mode.

It is incredible to see a Claymore user hitting his target with charged attacks only and with that much speed. Notice that he doesn’t deal much damage, but this is simply a beta showcase, where he probably doesn’t have any leveled Talents or artifacts.

Also, notice that both the boss and his animations seem to be incomplete, and they actually are. This is simply a test version, and everything shown here is subject to change. But we can be sure that Itto will continue to be a beast in the live servers.
