Ayaka was, and still is, since her first appearance in the game’s first beta, one of the most beloved characters in Genshin Impact, and now, as the release date of Genshin Impact’s upcoming version 2.0 “The Immortal God and the Eternal Euthymia” gets closer and closer, we decided to talk about 5 things you may not know about the Princess of the Kamisato House

The Origin of the Shirasagi Himegimi Title

As was revealed in the leaks present in Honey impact, and later confirmed in her official profile, after the death of their parents, Ayaka and her older brother Ayato inherited the Kamisato Clan.

As her older brother is the one responsible for the government affairs related to the clan, Ayaka is responsible for its internal and external affairs.

With that said, even if is not on her job description, Ayaka often appears on social occasions and on events all-around Inazuma, always interacting with its people. That fact made her gain, among them, a higher reputation than that of her brother, the current head of the clan, thus earning her the prestigious title of Shirasagi Himegimi.

Kamisato Ayaka and Kamisato Ayato

After the death of their father, her older brother and the current head of the Kamisato Clan, Ayato, had to take up the role of the head of the clan, all while their mother was ill. The episode made Ayaka decide to share her brother’s burden.

Also according to Ayaka’s leaked character stories and voicelines, Ayato is always busy resolving matters for the clan, which makes Ayaka constantly worry about his well-being and health.

Hobbies

According to her official profile, revealed by miHoYo in the game’s official Twitter, Ayaka enjoys music, dancing, poetry, singing, and playing Shougi.

Favorite Food

According to her official profile, revealed by miHoYo in the game’s official Twitter, Ayaka is enticed by the food of the lands outside of her own, but among Inazuma’s specialties, she regards the Chazuke as her favorite food.

How Ayaka Got Her Vision

According to her leaked character story, and as we said above, Ayaka lost her father at a rather early age and her mother suffered from a grave illness, and, even though she was young, while seeing her brother take on that burden and her mother in that condition, she resolved to grow up into someone they could rely on.

Even though she was not especially talented in the arts of swordsmanship and poetry, she pushed on, with her mother’s words close to her heart, after all, ”None may deflect a swing that has been practiced a thousand times”.

With that mindset, she kept moving forward so that both her brother and mother could share their burdens with her, eventually coming to be known as the lady of the Kasmisato house and as the epitome of perfection for many, Kamisato Ayaka.

Then, in one day, after training for uncountable hours and defeating her opponent in a single strike, a vision appeared in her blade.

Genshin Impact’s version 2.0 “The Immortal God and the Eternal Euthymia” will feature Ayaka, Yoimiya, and Sayu’s debuts in the game, as well as the debut of the upcoming Inazuma region, new enemies, items, mechanics, and a new Archon quest featuring Baal, the Electro Archon.

You can take part in the game’s current version 1.6 right now, which features the character banner of Kaedehara Kazuha, as well as his featured weapon banner, a new Archon quest, and much more.
