Genshin Impact Dandelion Seeds, where and how to get them

A simple screenshot of four Dandelion plants with seeds in Genshin Impact

Dandelions can be found scattered all over Mondstadt in Genshin Impact, but how do you gather the seeds from Dandelion plants?

And where can those Dandelion plants be found anyway? You’ll be needing a lot of those Dandelion seeds after all.

What do I need Dandelion seeds in Genshin Impact for?

Dandelion seeds are used as Ascension materials for both Jean and Eula, as well as being useful in making Anemoculus Resonance stones, so you might find yourself needing quite a few of them if you happen to have either or even both of those characters.

Luckily, they’re not particularly hard to gather and tend to be found in clusters.

Where can I find Dandelions in Genshin?

Dandelions can found scattered all over the place in Mondstadt, but there are two large clusters to focus on if you want to gather plenty of them in a short time.

These two large groups can be found:

  • Next to the Mondstadt front gate, to either side
  • Located between Dawn Winery, and Stone gate, in an area overlooking the path to Liyue between the two.

If you can regularly gather the Dandelion seeds from both of these groups in Genshin Impact, you’ll have enough for any purpose pretty quickly without a huge amount of effort – be aware that it’ll be 3 days before they respawn, however.

Between them, they’re just under half of all the Dandelion spawns in Mondstadt, so definitely don’t overlook them, whatever you do.

Next up, how to gather seeds from the plant itself.

How do you actually gather the Dandelion Seeds?

Gathering the Dandelion Seeds is actually quite the simple process once you know how to do, and it’s really quite fitting given how tied into Mondstadt lore they are.

To gather Dandelion seeds, simply hit them with a source of Anemo (air) damage, and then interact with them.

As shown above, even if you don’t have the luck of having unlocked one of the other Anemo characters yet, simply using the Travellers Wind blade basic ability is enough to blow the Dandelion enough to be able to gather the seeds.

That’s about everything you need to know with Dandelion Seeds in Genshin Impact, Travellers. Best of luck!
