Genshin Impact: How to get Aloy on PC and Mobile platforms

Along with the new areas introduced in version 2.1, Genshin Impact also got to meet its first crossover character: Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn. She is a 5-star Cryo/Bow character in the game, and is known as the “Savior of Another World.”

She is currently an exclusive character for Playstation 4 and Playstation 5 players, and is given for free to everyone who logs into the game through these platforms. But is it possible to get Aloy on PC and mobile?

How to get Aloy on PC and Mobile

Currently, you cannot get her through normal means in other platforms that aren’t PlayStation. But you can actually play her through these platforms, thanks to the recent cross-save feature.

Since miHoYo heard our prayers, we can use this feature in order to get Aloy for our PC or mobile accounts. To do so, you must do the following:

You’ll need to login on your PSN account (or create if you don’t have one) and launch the game. You’ll be asked to link your existing miHoYo account to your PSN. Follow the steps required and after you’re done, log into the game.

Once you’re in, Aloy and her weapon will be waiting for you in your email box. After redeeming them, you are free to use them on whichever platform you desire. Be aware that her bow’s passive won’t be active on any other platform, though.

If you don’t own a PS4/PS5, you can ask a friend to do that for you. You just need to remember to use a PSN account that has never opened Genshin before.

Remember that you cannot transfer your progress from an existing console account to a different account used on PC or mobile, so this method is currently the only way to get Aloy on these platforms. Aloy will also be granted to all players with the next update.

Genshin Impact is currently on its 2.1 version, “Floating World Under the Moonlight”, featuring the conclusion of the Archon Quests in Inazuma, a new Weekly Boss, 2 new World Bosses, new characters and two new areas for exploration.

You can play the game for free on mobile devices including Android, iPhone, Playstation 4, Playstation 5 and PC on both miHoYo’s official launcher and Epic Games Store. A Nintendo Switch version is stated to be in development.
