Genshin Impact Leaks: Ayaka’s release window seemingly leaked

New leaks regarding Genshin Impact’s upcoming versions continue to appear at light speed, this time, a new leak seemingly revealing the release window for the upcoming 5-star Kamisato Ayaka, one of the game’s most awaited characters, surfaced.

The information was revealed by leaker Genshin Report, which claims that, according to one of his inside sources, Ayaka is planned to be released before Genshin Impact’s first anniversary, which will be celebrated on September 28th.

Ayaka is known as the Princess of the Kamisato House and will be one of the central characters of Genshin Impact’s second chapter, which will take place in the nation of Inazuma. She will be a Cryo sword user, with a moveset similar to Keqing’s, being able to cloak her weapon with her vision’s element.

If the leaks end up being true, since Ayaka is the face of the Inazuma arc, the new region should also be released before September.

Genshin Impact’s version 1.5 “Beneath the Light of Jadeite” is already here, allowing players to roll for both 5-star Zhongli and 4-star Yanfei, to experience the new housing system, and much more. The game’s upcoming 5-star Cryo claymore Eula will be released at a later date, together with her own character quest. 

The game is currently available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, mobile devices – Android, iOS – and PC, via miHoYo’s official launcher. A version of the game for the Nintendo Switch is reportedly in development.

The new version 1.6 of Genshin Impact is expected to be released in early June, featuring both a Klee rerun and a banner featuring the new 5-star sword user Kazuha.
