Genshin Impact leaks: Possible upcoming banners order; Yae and reruns are coming?

We’re getting close to the end of the 2.0 update of Genshin Impact, and people are already speculating about the upcoming banners and which order they will arrive. The live stream showcasing the 2.1 version was already announced by miHoYo and will be hosted tomorrow.

The current beta is already over, and we know pretty much everything about the update. But when we talk about characters, aside from the Raiden Shogun and Kokomi, we don’t have any confirmation for future banners. Or do we?

Which will be the upcoming banners?

Today, the leaker Ubatcha again mentioned that we’ll be seeing some reruns during the 2.1 update. He also mentioned that Yae Miko, the future 5-star Electro Catalyst, will be the next banner character after Kokomi. After that, we should see previous characters coming back.

The most interesting parts are the Hu Tao and Albedo reruns. He again mentions the Ganyu rerun, but following this order, she would come back during 2.1 and not 2.2 as previously mentioned.

Is this leak reliable?

Ubatcha had some reliable leaks in the past, and he also said himself in this last tweet that this order, as well as the characters, may change.

Considering other facts, such as the presence of Albedo in this list (he’s the oldest character without a rerun, and people have demanded one since they discovered he was good), it makes sense that these characters should be the next stars of the upcoming banners.

Also, we also have some new 4-star characters to release like Garou and Thoma, so it is not like miHoYo wouldn’t give us anything new during these banners.

But again, we should take these leaks with a grain of salt. We don’t have any other confirmation for anything after 2.1, so this order could be pure speculation.

Also, the order for the Ganyu rerun is already different from before, making this order seem a little bit more suspicious.

The 2.2 beta should start during the first week after the 2.1 update, and soon we’ll know if these leaks are reliable or not.

Genshin Impact is currently on its 2.0 version, “The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia”, which brought the region of Inazuma to the game, along with many new enemies, characters, weapons and areas to explore.

You can play the game for free on mobile devices, Playstation 4, Playstation 5 and Pcs on both miHoYo’s official launcher and Epic Games Store. A Nintendo Switch version is stated to be in development.
