Genshin Impact leaks: Shenhe and Yun Jin voicelines added

While the 2.2 update for Genshin Impact isn’t live, some leaks for the subsequent version are already surfacing. This time, some already playable units received voice lines for the upcoming characters Shenhe and Yun Jin.
Both girls had their original models data mined almost a year ago, alongside some other characters like Kazuha and Hu Tao, and Yun Jin specifically was briefly shown during the Moonchase Festival final cutscene.
And finally, after months of speculation about their development (some believed that Shenhe was scrapped and recycled into Eula), we have the confirmation they’ll become playable.

Leaker Project Celestia grouped all the new voice lines in a single image for better reading.
Yun Jin is currently mentioned by Xingqiu, Keqing and Xinyan in their voice lines, and Zhongli also previously mentioned her as “Mr. Yun” in his “Good Evening” voice line.
As for Shenhe, her name is not seen in any portion of the game and was previously known simply by data mines (similar to how we knew Mimi’s name before she became Kokomi). The situation is similar to Eula’s release, as we also had no previous mentions of her.
Yun Jin was supposedly a Geo Polearm while Shenhe was a Cryo Claymore. Yun Jin’s vision is already different from what we’ve seen in the cutscene. Here are the original leaked models. Yun Jin’s the third from left to right, and Shenhe’s the last one.
From the voice lines mentioning Shenhe and Yun Jin, we can assume that they are known figures around Liyue. Yun Jin works in the Heya Tea House (the building in which Liyue’s storyteller resides), while Shenhe is a complete mystery.
Fans have theorized that she’s the Cloud Retainer’s human form based on her design, and Ganyu’s voice line also helps to create a connection, but nothing is confirmed until this moment. We don’t know when they’ll be available, but as 2.3 will focus on Gorou and Arataki Itto, it will not be so soon.

Genshin Impact is at the end of its 2.1 version, “Floating World Under the Moonlight”, which featured the conclusion of the Archon Quests in Inazuma, a new Weekly Boss, two new World Bosses, new characters and two new areas for exploration.
You can play the game for free on mobile devices including Android, iOS, Playstation 4, Playstation 5 and Pc on both miHoYo’s official launcher and Epic Games Store. A Nintendo Switch version is stated to be in development.
