Genshin Impact: Meet the new leaked enemies, the Riftstalkers

The live server of Genshin Impact is finally enjoying the conclusion of the Inazuma Archon Quest, while the beta server is being constantly updated with new entries. Recently, data on two new enemies, the Riftstalkers, have appeared.

Those enemies will be present in the upcoming final island of Inazuma and seem to be able to bypass shields. We’ll be meeting both the Riftstalker Hounds, from the Geo element, and the Riftstalker Whelps imbued with Electro.

Everything we know about Inazuma’s Riftstalkers

Their first leaked image appeared in one of Genshin Intel’s tweets about the upcoming event in 2.2 which will give us a free Xinyan. We can see some not-so-friendly doglike creatures in the background.

Both the Anemo and Geo Archon abilities will be rendered useless against those enemies. Considering that they will be as strong as the current enemies of Inazuma, we’ll probably be needing some heavy healing in order to fight them.

Later, more images featuring those new enemies have surfaced, this time with some brief descriptions about their capacities, courtesy of RaiDim Bee

Both the Hound and the Whelp already have their pages on Honey Impact, containing their (pretty big) status and some of their descriptions.

Curiously, their description mentions Gold, the same alchemist who supposedly created both Albedo and Durin, the dragon whose mortal remains now reside on the snowy mountain near Mondstadt known as Dragonspine.

The Riftstalkers will be featured in some of the future events in the game, and will probably be new enemies featured in the Spiral Abyss, so happy dogfighting!
