Halo MCC Weekly Deck Challenges

Halo: MCC has weekly challenges called Decks that dropped when seasons started. With these weekly Decks we get challenges across all game modes from campaign playlists, to multiplayer objectives, medal earnings and so much more. Below we’ll go into details on this weeks Deck.

There are three types of Decks that can be found in the Challenge Hub from the Start Menu.

Each of these Decks of challenges offer different rewards from Season Points to armor for your spartan, weapon skins or nameplates but XP is always rewarded.

Let’s go over the different Decks below.

Halo: MCC Weekly PVP Deck

This week for the PVP Deck there are 13 challenges for you to complete across multiplayer modes in social and competitive playlists.

Each Deck has gold and blue challenges.

Gold Challenges reward Season Points while Blue Challenges do not.

This weeks Decks require you to win social and competitive games and eliminate players in a number of ways. Let’s break them down below.

Gold

  • Friendly Fire – Win social matchmade games – 3 wins
  • Sweat Equity – Win competitive matchmade games – 2 wins
  • Style Browser – Earn style medals in matchmade games – 20 medals
  • Helping Hand – Assist teammates in matchmade games – 25 assists
  • Stay Positive – Complete matchmade games with a kill/death ratio of 1.0 or higher

Blue

  • Sharpshooter – Defeat opponents with precision weapon headshots – 35 headshots
  • Objective Results – Earn objective medals – 10 medals
  • The Wheel Deal – Earn wheelman medals in matchmade games – 10 medals
  • Pineapple Party – Defeat enemies with grenades – 10 kills
  • Shared DNA – Complete games in Halo 4 or Halo 2: Anniversary – 10 games
  • Victory In Protection – Complete games in game types with asset denial objectives – 5 games
  • Okay Boomer – Defeat enemies with explosive weapons in matchmade games
  • Peoples Vs Peoples – Complete Weekly PVP Challenges – 10 challenges

Halo: MCC Weekly PVE Deck

The weekly PVE Deck also has 13 challenges for you to complete across PVE game modes: Firefight, Campaign and Spartan Ops.

Gold

  • Firefighter – Complete full-set matchmade Firefight games – 2 games
  • Story Sortie – Complete Campaign missions on Normal difficulty or higher – 3 missions
  • Heavy Mettle – Defeat heavy enemies and vehicles in PVE modes – 35 enemies/vehicles
  • Battle-Hardened – Complete Campaign missions on Legendary difficulty – 2 missions
  • Cuddle Up – Defeat enemies with close-range weapons in PVE modes – 75 kills

Blue

  • Playlist Progression – Complete a mission on Normal difficulty or higher – 1 mission
  • Co-Operation – Complete campaign missions in a co-op session – 2 missions
  • Skullduggery – Complete a campaign mission with at least one Skull enabled – 1 game
  • Change of Scenery – Complete Campaign or Spartan Ops missions in Halo 3 or Halo 4 – 3 missions
  • Pinpoint – Earn headshot kills in PVE modes with precision weapons – 100 headshots
  • Promethean Proficiency – Earn kills in PVE modes with Forerunner weapons on Normal difficulty or higher – 100 kills
  • Firefight Fodder – Complete matchmade Firefight games with 75 or more total kills – 3 games
  • VS CPU – Complete Weekly PVE Challenges – 10 challenges

Halo: MCC Seasonal Deck

The seasonal challenges Deck for Halo: MCC stay the same for the entire season.

These challenges give very specific and the more sought after rewards within the season however they require the most amount of work and focus.

Gold

  • Because You Begged – Perform an assassination against an Elite to survive a fall that would’ve been fatal in Halo: Reach
  • Release the Geese! – In Halo 3, complete the mission Halo on Legendary difficulty with all players in Mongooses
  • Combo Maker – Complete the Guilty Shot and Who, What, Win Challenges

Blue

  • Strong in the Week – Complete weekly challenges – 30 challenges
  • Firefight Hero – Complete 20 Firefight games
  • Guilty Shot – Earn headshots with the Battle Rifle – 343 headshots
  • Who, What, Win – Win competitive matchmade games – 25 games
  • Choose Your Own Adventure – Complete a cross-game Campaign Playlist
  • Degrees of Difficulty – Complete Campaign or Spartan Ops missions. Earn additional progress for completions on higher difficulties
  • Off the Beaten Path – Collect Skulls, Audio Logs, Date Pads or Terminals in Campaign missions
  • Five Grand – Defeat enemies. Earn additional progress by defeating enemies in matchmaking.
  • Five-Oh-Em-Gee – Complete 50 matchmade multiplayer games

Considering the Seasonal Decks last all season and the PVP and PVE Decks refresh with plenty of challenges weekly you should have no problem completing these.

Having fun while doing so and getting some sweet rewards for all of your hard work doesn’t feel too bad either!
