League of Legends: Caitlyn The Ultimate Killer Build

League of Legends’ Caitlyn is a great AD Carry but almost everyone plays her using Critical Itemization. League of Legends is a game where the main purpose is to have fun and play around different builds and champions, something that is often forgotten or overlooked.

Today, we’ll be taking a look at the The Ultimate Killer Caitlyn build.

Many people seem to stress out due to losing games or dying in the game. I want to refresh this approach with my Crazy and Fun series.

This series focus is on build that you can try out in non-ranked games for more fun and experimentation with the new, revamped itemization in League of Legends.

The Ultimate Killer Lucian Build Preview

The build relies heavily on lethality and armor penetration. With the items I will include, you will get a lot of cooldown reduction too.

You start playing like a normal Caitlyn build either on the bot lane or mid lane. The main focus is your Ultimate ability, hence the name of the build.

However, do not be fooled, because you can still do a lot of damage by using your Auto Attacks and other skills, especially Q.

In the end, after a couple of items, you will be able to delete the full health bar with one R.

It is an amazing feeling to press your Ultimate and watch the enemy fall in shock. This League of Legends Caitlyn Build will literally blow your mind.

Runes for The Ultimate Killer Caitlyn Build

The main focus of the runes is on getting the biggest Ultimate hit possible, in addition to getting additional true damage from Cheap Shot.

You can adjust The Eyeball Collection row to your preferences. On the second tree, you are getting the Gathering Storm and Absolute Focus for max AD.

The statistics you are aiming for are the most AD and lethality possible, as well as cooldown reduction on your R.

At the bottom, you can take either HP, Armor, or Magic Resist depending on the matchup.

Keystone for the build is Predator because it will add damage to your initial shot with your Ultimate.

  • Predator – for the biggest one-shot potential with R
  • Cheap Shot – the best out of all the other options, might give you some true damage if the target is movement impaired
  • Eyeball Collection – a bit more AD
  • Ultimate Hunter – less cooldown on your R to explode your enemies
  • Absolute Focus – a lot AD while above 70% health
  • Gathering Storm – additional AD later on in the game

Items for The Vaporizer Lucian Build

You should start with Doran’s Blade or Doran’s Shield depending on the matchup, but you can also start with a long sword and refillable potion.

I included all the necessary items for this build to work but feel free to adjust it to your preferences. The most important is the damage from the Duskblade and cooldown reduction as a mythical passive ability.

After getting both the boots and Duskblade, you should focus on getting the most lethality items as fast as possible. It will enhance your cooldown, and one shot potential. Make them explode!

Then it is up to you which items and in which order you build, as long as they fit in the category of getting the most Armor Penetration, Lethality, and CDR as possible.

  • Ionian Boots of Lucidity – better cooldowns
  • Duskblade – a lot of additional burst to your R and cooldown as [Mythic Passive]
  • Serylda’s Grudge – slow, great for kiting, a lot of armor penetration
  • The Collector – great finishing tool
  • Edge of Night – a shield against heavy engage
  • Youmuu’s Ghostblade – even more mobility around the map

This Caitlyn Build is really original.

It is not the best use of Caitlyn’s potential, but it is also not a troll build. With some practice, you can find this build great versus certain squishy enemies, or opponents that have long-range abilities. An awesome League of Legends Caitlyn Build to try out.
