Crystal Dynamics made a huge promise to PlayStation players when their Avengers game launched and Spider-Man content had everyone excited. However, we’re well-over half a year into the game’s life and there’s been no sign of the Web-Slinger yet.

What gives, Crystal Dynamics? Where’s those damn pictures of Spider-Man?!

Speaking to IGN, Crystal Dynamics’ Studio Head Scot Amos had some promising words about Spider-Man though…

” Formally, officially, people are working on him right now… [He] is still on our roadmap for the future.”

Well, great. What does this mean then? Well, it means that Spider-Man and any Spider-Man content is not going to be coming to Crystal Dynamics’ Avengers game until at least the “And Beyond” part of the Summer And Beyond section of the roadmap.

Good Decision?

It is a shame, but at this point Marvel’s Avengers fans would prefer a well-developed and smooth-operating Web-Slinger to be added to the game after the rocky launch Crystal Dynamics suffered from last year.
