FNF Kickstarter Update: 12 days to go!

As of the time of writing this, the Friday Night Funkin Kickstarter has been up for a little over two weeks, and has accrued over 1.7 million dollars in that time. For those who want to know just what that entails, I’ve got you covered with this FNF Kickstarter update!

So far

As stated, the Friday Night Funkin Kickstarter project has currently amassed $1.7 million in donations from fans around the world. For reference, the original goal was $60,000 and the furthest (realistic) stretch goal was at about 1.85 million.

So far, fans have not only managed to fund the game, but a ton of additional goodies as well. Some of these include: a new difficulty mode, extra playable characters, online multiplater, fully animated cutscenes, a character creator, and a mobile build. The most notable thing I left out there was the currently 15 additional weeks of content that has been hit through stretch goals. This brings the total of new weeks in the full game to 35, counting the base game of course.

Next?

All that’s really left for the main stretch goals is the additional 10 week epilogue, and that’s about $100,000 away at the time of writing this with nearly two weeks left to fund the project. The rest of the goals are… well, not realistic, but they certainly weren’t meant to be either.

Stuff like the Playstation 1 port, Pico’s School content, and the fnf sakuga are all stretch goals in the millions, at minimum 1.2 million above the epilogue weeks. It’s safe to say we aren’t getting these goals, and that the devs weren’t truly expecting any of these to realistically happen either.

That all said, that’s all I’ve got for this FNF Kickstarter update! Things are looking great for the game with a passionate team and crazy amount of income. I can’t wait for the full release!
