Draugr Reinhardt was the first skin that Blizzard officially announced for the Halloween Terror this year. A Draugr is a character from Scandanavian folklore that can best be personified as an undead, reanimated corpses that guard treasure hidden around their burial grounds.

Draugr Reinhardt is adorned with glowing blue armour with tufts of fur insulating his armour. Arrows have also pierced through Dragur Reinhardt’s armour. However, it doesn’t appear that the arrows phase him too much.

When Blizzard announced Brigitte’s new Vampire Hunter skin it was clear that the skin would become a fan favourite among the community. Many fans have taken to Twitter to express their… admiration for the new skin.

Vampire Hunter Brigitte sports a gothic appearance with a trench coat and tall boots while also switching up her hair from her traditional reddish-brown to a ghoulish white.

Vampire Hunter Brigitte needs someone to hunt, right? Luckily, Vampire Bat Echo appears to be the perfect adversary for Brigitte.

Vampire Bat Echo’s design is highlighted by sharp and dark design details. A red liquid that appears to be blood runs through tubes around her body before collecting in an orb behind her back in a manner similar to various Moira skins.

Lucio will also be joining in on the fun this year with a new legendary Satyr skin. In Greek mythology, a satyr is a spirit that takes the form of a half-human half-goat.

Lucio’s new Satyr skin takes a more evil approach to the character. Lucio discovered glowing red markings around his torso and head while still keeping the Satyr’s signature goat legs.

The skin feature a wooden aesthetic and a skeleton version of Ganymede. The final touch added to Bastion’s new skin comes when he is in turret mode where small little coffins pop up on both sides of his head.

In the traditional Overwatch lore, Genji may have barely made it back from the brink of death, but it doesn’t appear the Skeleton skin of Genji was as lucky.

This epic skin reminds me a lot of some of Sombra’s Azucar skin and most likely takes some inspiration from Mexican culture. The bright yellow makes the skin pop out making this epic skin feel like a bang for its buck.

This epic skin will be available during week one.

Zarya has taken the form of the Norse mythological character the Einherjar for her Halloween Terror skin. The Einherjar were a group of Norse warriors who died in battle and were brought to Valhalla in honour of their sacrifice.

Zarya’s Einherjar skin is a fairly brown skin highlighted by several swirly decorative markings on her clothes as well as a Norwegian-inspired haircut.

Roadhog will be receiving the IT treatment for the 2021 Halloween Terror event. Blizzard has revealed a horrifying new Clown skin for Roadhog. Roadhog always seems to get the best Halloween skins with him receiving the Junkenstein’s Monster skin beforehand.

The new Clown skin features frighteningly sharp teeth and eerie eyes that would make even the most courageous Overwatch fan slightly creeped out.

This epic skin will be available during week three.

How to unlock epic event skins

If it has been a few years since your last time playing Overwatch then you probably have realized that you cannot buy epic event skins anymore.

For those who want to earn event skins, you must win nine games of Overwatch in any non-custom-game mode over the course of one week. Each week a new skin is put up to be unlocked and once that week is over, the skin isn’t available until the next year.
