Information has been revealed regarding the incense day this month, and its all about Beldum!
Yes, it’s near that time again when Pokemon Go holds an Incense day, and this one is themed around Beldum. That means we’ll be seeing a fair few Psychic and Steel types.
When is Beldum’s incense day?
The incense day will start up on Sunday, March 14, at 11:00 AM local time. It’ll end 6 hours later the same day, at 5:00 PM local time.
This is all fairly normal for an incense day to be clear. A one-day event with a fair amount of things to catch and an excuse for players to burn some of their incense.

What can we expect to see?
So, who – or what – will this feature, you may wonder?
Well, with Beldum as the theme we can expect Pokemon of both its two types to appear. We also know that Incense days typically alternate between hours of one type to an hour of the other type and then back again.
We also know to expect a number of Pokemon already, who have all been listed below and sorted by type to simplify things.
Psychic-type Pokemon
- Natu
- Girafarig
- Meditite
- Baltoy
- Munna – Rarely
- And Beldum, of course.
These Psychic-types will be spawning at the following specific times while the player is under the effect of Incense:
- From 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. local time
- From 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. local time
- From 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. local time

Steel-type Pokemon
- Alolan Diglett
- Magnemite
- Aron
- Sheldon – Rarely
- Bronzor
- and Beldum, naturally.
These Steel-types will be spawning for the times not occupied by the Psychic-types, meaning that they will spawn at the following specific times provided incense is used:
- From 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. local time
- From 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. local time
- From 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time
Does the event have anything else?
Yes, actually – though honestly, a Beldum Incense day alone is already a pretty big deal, it’s quite the popular Pokemon – but anyway, the extras!
First of all, As usual for Incense days, a bundle will appear in the store for the duration of the event to provide an incense for 1 PokeCoin.

Shiny Beldum is already in the game, so you can keep an eye out for this little guy above during your day.
Finally, if you happen to evolve a Metang (the evolution of Beldum) again, into Metagross during the event, Metagross will know Meteor Mash – which was a previously exclusive move to a community day.
