Pokemon Go Luminous Legends Y Part 2

Pokemon Go Sylveon Banner ( Pokemon Go Luminous Legends Y part 2)

Pokemon Go will soon release the second half of the Luminous Legends Y event, so make sure to read on about part 2 and get ready in advance.

When is Luminous Legends Y part 2?

The Luminous Legends Y part 2 event will start in Pokemon Go on May 25th, at 10:00 AM local time. It’ll end on May 31st, at 8:00 PM local.

As usual, local refers to the time for you, so don’t worry about time zone conversion.

What can we expect?

Wild spawns, the potential release of Shiny Galarian Zigzagoon, eevee themed raids, new eggs and another new Pokemon!

You’ll also be able to stock up on Eevee and its evolutions through event-exclusive field research tasks. And if that’s still not enough, triple catch XP is also expected.

New Pokemon?

The new Pokemon mentioned above, as you might have noticed in the article title image, is expected to be Sylveon. Sylveon is the Fairy-type variant of Eevee, and the last evolution of Eevee currently missing from Pokemon Go.

It’s expected to be the highlight of this event, so make sure to get a fresh Eevee ready to evolve during this event! Or perhaps even a few.

Wild Pokemon in Luminous Legends Y Part 2

The new wild Pokemon added for the duration of this event is a fairly short list, but they’ll be quite popular I’d expect regardless.

Note that bolded Pokemon are available as shinies. Anyway, here’s a quick list;

  • Eevee
  • Ralts
  • Spritzee
  • Swirlix

Egg Changes

The list of Pokemon hatched from eggs will be getting another Fairy-type makeover for this part of the event, with a list of newcomers here:

  • Eevee
  • Cleffa
  • Igglybuff
  • Togepi
  • Azurill
  • Spritzee
  • Swirlix

Note that once again, shiny-available Pokemon are bolded.

Raid Changes

If the community reaches the current 25 million Team Go Rocket Grunt target, Shiny-available Galarian Zigzagoon is expected to appear in tier 1 raids, but that’s not all.

Tier 3 Raids
  • Vapereon
  • Jolteon
  • Flareon
  • Espeon
  • Umbreon

Yveltal will also be retaining a place in the 5-star raid list on their own.

Is there anything else for the Luminous Legends Y Part 2 event?

Nope, that’s pretty much everything for this event.

Make sure to not miss out Trainers, even if you only attend for that sweet tripled capture experience! It does make an excellent throw go from 1000 EXP to 3000 EXP after all.
