Therian forme Landorus is following the lead of other Therian Formes and will be added to Pokemon Go at the end of this month.
As expected since Therian forme Thundurus was released first, we’re getting the entire trio of Therian Formes one after the other – ending with Therian Landorus.
When will Therian Landorus be added to Pokemon Go?
Therian forme Landorus is expected to released into Pokemon Go tier-5 Raids on April 13th, at 10:00 AM local time.
He’ll almost certainly be here for two weeks just as the others have been done when they’ve been introduced – which will mean featuring in two separate raid hours as well.

Fighting Therian Landorus in Pokemon Go
What moves can Therian Landorus know?
Fast Attacks:
- Mud Shot
- Rock Throw
Charged Attacks:
- Earth Power
- Focus Blast
- Outrage
- Rock Slide

What types will be effective for fighting him?
Like Thundurus before him, Landorus’s typing has the annoying effect of giving him a fairly limited set of weaknesses to target – though, unlike Thundurus, Landorus has the good manners to have a double-type weakness at least.
Super-effective types to prioritise using:
Ice is the real kicker here, dealing 256% damage total – while Water, the only other available counter option will deal the usual 160% super effective damage.
- Ice – 256% damage dealt
- Water
Resisted types to avoid using:
Meanwhile, resistances also has a standout type – though you’ll really want to avoid using this one unless you’re looking for challenge mode, as ground moves will only deal 39% of their usual damage against Landorus.
- Ground – 39% damage taken
- Bug
- Electric
- Fighting
- Poison
The rest are at the usual 62.5% damage rate for a resisted type.

Will the shiny form be available?
The same sort of deal with the other Therian formes has continued here – Therian Landorus will not be released alongside his shiny form – so it won’t be available to be captured.
It’s most likely being reserved for another event involving the forces of nature Pokemon in the future.

There’s not that much to know about this release – if you’ve seen these articles for the other forces of nature getting their Therian Forme, its basically the same thing with adjusted moves and resistances.
