Pokemon Go Sinnoh Stone item

Pokemon Go has plenty of different items that don’t outright state their purposes, you might have even already come across some of these yourself – and to help understand them, in this article we’ll be talking about the Sinnoh Stone item.

Pokemon Go – Sinnoh Stone

Sinnoh stones are fairly simple in Pokemon Go, they’re used as an evolution item – though unlike the rest of the Pokemon Go evolution items, they are used for a lot of evolutions.

What does it do?

As I mentioned above, the Sinnoh Stones in Pokemon Go had a wide variety of evolutions that you’ll need them for, so make sure to collect all of these stones that you can find.

Roserade in the Pokemon anime
Roserade is one of the many Pokemon in Pokemon Go that you will strictly need a Sinnoh Stone to obtain, as the evolution requires the item.

Compared to other evolution items that have typically anywhere between 1 and 4 evolutions for them, this is quite the list. And all of these become impossible to obtain without the item, as it is strictly required for these evolutions.

The item isn’t all you’ll need though, as these Pokemon also require candy for their evolutions too. A very picky bunch, these ones.

How do I get a Sinnoh Stone?

For those players who don’t have a Sinnoh Stone (or several of them) already, you can find more of them by claiming research breakthrough rewards, or participating in Trainer Battles (though at a small chance).

Unfortunately, Sinnoh Stones are quite restricted in how often you can obtain them, particularly if you don’t often do Trainer Battles.

There are very few ways to get this Evolution item in the game – check your available research rewards and simply keep trying is the best advice I can give if you haven’t found one so far.

That’s about everything there is to know about the Sinnoh Stone item in Pokemon Go.
