Looking for the codes you’ll need to unlock the safes and lockers scattered around Resident Evil 2? We’ve got you covered with a handy check-list below.

The Resident Evil 2 Remake is full of stuff to do. If hiding from Mr. X and killing zombies isn’t something you fancy doing, you can always go after the safes and lockers!

If you want to unlock every single one of them, you’re going to need to do a hell of a lot of exploring to find all the codes.

So, rather than have you risking your life for some crumpled note with a four-digit code on it, we’ve compiled all the safe codes for the Resident Evil 2 Remake below!

Resident Evil 2 Remake Codes

We’re not going to beat around the bush below, so if there’s a particular code you’re looking for be sure to CTRL + F the name of it to save yourself some time!

Lion Statue Lock

  • Location: Main Hall
  • Code: Lion, Leafy Branch, Bird
  • Code ( Second Run Variant ): Crown, Torch, Bird

Leon’s Desk

  • Location: West Office
  • Code ( Left ): N, E, D
  • Code ( Right ): M, R, G

Safety Deposit Room Control Panel

  • Location: Safety Deposit Room
  • Needed Items: Spare Key #1, Spare Key #2

3F Stairs Dial

  • Location: Top of Northwest Stairs, 3F
  • Code: D, C, M

Unicorn Statue

  • Location: Lounge
  • Code: Fish, Scorpion, Vase

Men’s Locker Room Dial

Plant 43 Herbicide Solution

  • Location: Drug Testing Lab
  • Code: Red, Green, Blue, Red, Green, Blue, Red, Green
  • Code ( Second Run Variant ): Blue, Red, Green, Blue, Red, Green, Blue, Red, Green

That’s all there is too it! Some of these unlock safes and lockers with great rewards in them and others help to unlock doors and ladders!

It’s worth noting that both portable safes have no set code and they cna be figured out with a little trail and error. Sadly, they randomise each time code-wise but can be found here:

  • Playthrough A: Shower Room 2F, Linen Room 2F
  • Playthrough B: Interrogation Room 1F, Linen Room 2F
