Resident Evil 8, or VILLAGE as its officially called, is the next entry in the Resident Evil series and will continue the story of Ethan and Mia as they end up in a castle this time.

Is Resident Evil 8 On PS5?
The PlayStation 5 was released in November 2020, ushering in the next-generation of hardware.
As it is the latest console released by Sony, we will be seeing Resident Evil 8 release on the PS5.
The game should feature higher frame rates and resolutions, and due to AMD working with Capcom to optimize the game for the hardware, and with the PS5 using AMD hardware, we can expect to see some form of ray tracing available in the game too, offering improve lighting and reflections to give increased immersion as players try and escape from the castle and the tall sexy witch lady.

Release Date and Platforms
It was revealed that Resident Evil 8 will be available worldwide on May 7th 2021. It was also confirmed that the game will be coming to the last gen consoles, the PS4 and Xbox One. Capcom previously cancelled these versions due to hardware limitations.
