Mercenaries Mode Announced
During the RE Showcase it was revealed that the popular Mercenaries mode will be returning to Resident Evil VILLAGE.
The Mercenaries mode is a fun run and gun style mode where the game has a more arcade feel as players try and rack up as many points as they can while trying to survive hordes of enemies while trying to reach the goal.
This time there will be some brand new features introduced to the mode.
The Shop
Mercenaries will feature a new shop and will be accessible between areas, allowing players to stock up on weapons, ammo, and healables to help survive.
Customization
By visiting The Duke, players will be able to customize and upgrade weapons to make them stronger, which will come in handy when facing the later stages.
Abilities
Players will be able to choose various Abilities by finding and activating them during a stage.
These can do things such as increase weapon strength, increase movement speed among others.
Only three will be available to choose from each time but there will be various locations to activate them.
