Spellbreak, the new battle royale game by Proletariat, putting their own twist on the genre with a magic dominant pool of weapons, equipment and abilities. Spellbreak also has its own twist on the battle pass, called the Chapter Pass. Below we’ll go over the details of Spellbreak and the Chapter Pass you can purchase.
Spellbreak has you play as a battlemage against over 40 other battlemages in a battle royale mode.
You are equipped with one of 6 magic classes and you can find any of the other 5 to equip yourself with while on the battlefield as well. Combine these elemental abilities for incredible combinations of magic attacks.
The Chapter Pass is not only a bunch of challenges for you to complete but also full of rewards for you to earn.
The Chapter Pass unlocks several types of challenges for you to clear:
- Story Quests
- Honor Quests
- Daily Quests
Let’s go over the types of challenges below and what the difference between them is.

Chapter Pass Story Quests
Spellbreak’s Chapter Pass has 12 weeks of Story challenges, on top of what is already included. So every week beyond the first week comes with additional challenges.
However, it appears that you only have that week to complete the challenges given before they are replaced with the next week.
Every week when the new Story Quests are released, they come with a narrative from one of the game’s characters. Each week a character will give you three tasks to complete. These challenges are given a new name every week they premiere.
Be aware that one challenge must be completed to unlock the next.
Completing all Story Quests from a week will earn you a reward such as a badge or a card.
Chapter Pass Honor Quests
Honor Quests are quests that are given weekly as well but these quests are not replaced and do not disappear, giving you the entire chapter to complete them and earn as much XP as possible.
Chapter Pass Daily Quests
Daily Quests give Gold as a completion reward, for each one completed. Every day you are given 3 new Daily Quests to complete for Gold, which is thankfully the only currency within Spellbreak.
Daily Quests will contain quests such as using a certain mage’s ability a set amount of times or opening chests as a certain type mage.
Chapter Pass Rewards
There’s a lot of rewards to customize your character with from the battle pass to make you stand out from the other players and be as flashy as you please when you exile another player or just hanging out in the lobby.
The Chapter Pass, as well as the shop, offer various items but only the Chapter Pass will give exclusive rewards for only while this Pass for Chapter 1 is active.

Rewards such as outfits, badges, afterglow, cloudbursts, banners, emotes, cards, titles, and artifacts can be found from the Chapter Pass while challenges will give you XP and reputation.
While there are only 50 Chapter Pass levels to acquire, there is absolutely no lack of content in Spellbreak.
Personally, I’m heavily interesting in this battle royale title from Proletariet and can’t wait to dive deeper into the game. Spellbreak is already an immersive experience and I am excited to see where its future goes.
