Valheim: Is It On Google Stadia?

Valheim became an instant smash hit when it launched on February 2nd. In less than two weeks the game reached over 2 million sales on Steam.

But is it on Google Stadia?

If you’re one of the few people that use Google Stadia, you might be wondering if you can play this smash-hit game on the streaming platform.

Unfortunately, no you can’t.

In the FAQ section of the official Valheim website, Iron Gate state which platforms the game is on and their future plans in regards to ports.

“Valheim will be released on Windows and Linux via Steam. A Mac-version will be released if there is any significant demand for it. There are no plans to release on other platforms as of the time of writing but we won’t rule out console versions in the future.”

So, at least as of right now, Valheim can only be played on Steam with no current plans for a console port. There is no mention of Google Stadia so it is possible that Valheim could come to it if a console port was developed, but I wouldn’t hold out.

If you’ve got a half decent PC then you should definitely buy it on Steam and play it because you might be in for a long wait otherwise.
