Monster Hunter Rise: How to find and deliver Rhenoplos Egg

With the worldwide release of Monster Hunter Rise players are scrambling to get their hands on materials and gear, and we’re here to tell you how to get yours on Rhenoplos Egg specifically.

Rhenoplos Egg is a canteen material that is requested by Yomogi (and her the adorable felyne chefs) to add the Dizzybloom Bunny Dango to the canteen menu.

The request is stated in-game as follows.

“I need more eggs to make my new Bunny Dango. Help me gather them, pretty please?”

Start by heading over to Hinoa the Quest Maiden at the Village Quest Counter. Select Village Quests, then Expedition Tours, then “A Tour of the Plains”. Select Daytime, and Depart to begin the quest.

The egg is found in a very specific location in the Sandy Plains. In Area 11, all the way at the bottom near the ponds, there is a Rhenoplos Den. This can be accessed by taking the tunnel route into the ruins in Area 11, or jumping down from the very top.

Once you locate the nest, the objective requires you to pick up an egg and carry it all the way back to your camp. While this may seem like an arduous task, it is made manageable by the wirebugs. You can wall run, swing, and boost yourself forward while carrying the egg.

Keep in mind to avoid monsters as you make your way back. While performing wirebug parkour might not make you drop the egg, the monsters definitely can.

Upon reaching the camp, all you need to do is deliver the egg to the supply box. Once done, you can press the + button to complete the quest and return to Kamura Village.
