Breath of the Wild 2 is coming in 2022 on Nintendo Switch

E3 2021 is almost over, with just a few more presentations still to take place. All eyes are currently on Nintendo after an overall disappointing E3 this year. But, Nintendo has saved the day with their presentation, which saw the reveal of Metroid Dread among many other games.
Breath Of The Wild 2 Is Coming In 2022
During Nintendo’s E3 Direct presentation, a lot of the focus was on The Legend Of Zelda as the series is currently celebrating its 35th anniversary, much like Super Mario in 2020 which saw the release of Super Mario 3D All-Stars, Mario 35, and many more games and merchandise.

During the Nintendo Direct, we got a brand new trailer for Breath Of The Wild 2, along with the announcement that the game will be launching on Nintendo Switch. Unfortunately, no exact release date has been announced right now, but we can expect to hear more news in the coming months.

About Breath Of The Wild 2
The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2 is a sequel to the 2017 Nintendo Switch launch title, Breath Of The Wild, which saw Link face Hyrule in a completely open-world setting, where he had to craft weapons and items in order to survive.

Breath Of The Wild 2 will see the story continue, this time in the skies of Hyrule and on top of much higher terrain. In the trailer, we get to see Link skydive which should add some interesting mechanics to the game.
The game also looks to have a much darker tone than the previous title, which could bring with it a very exciting story.
BOTW2 will launch on Nintendo Switch in 2022, with an official release date to be announced at a later date.
