Life Is Strange announced for Nintendo Switch

E3 2021 is coming to a close, with just a couple of presentations left to take place. The highlight today is definitely Nintendo, who are hosting their usual E3 Direct presentation, followed by a 3-hour Treehouse Live showcase where they will play games revealed during the event.

During the event it was announced that Life Is Strange Remastered Collection and True Colors will be coming to Nintendo Switch in 2021.

Life Is Strange Is Coming To Nintendo Switch

Three Life Is Strange games will be making their way to Nintendo Switch in 2021, with Life Is Strange Remastered Collection including Life Is Strange Remastered and Before the Storm Remastered. While Life Is Strange: True Colors will launch as a separate game.

True Colors is due to be released on Nintendo Switch on September 10th. No release date for the Remastered Collection was given, but the Steam listing for the game has it down as September 30th, but it is very likely that the game won’t launch on the Switch at the same time as other platforms, based on previous releases.

This will mark the first time that the series has come to Nintendo, despite the series first beginning back in 2015.

Life Is Strange 2 and The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit, a free game set in the same universe, were both released in 2018 so it is possible that we will see these games come to the system at a later date, depending on the reception that these ports get when they launch later this year.

During Nintendo’s E3 2021 Direct presentation we saw the official announcement that the series will be coming to the Nintendo Switch later this year.
