PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is still going strong with Update 10.2 being released including a new vehicle, bug fixes, and more. So, let’s take a look at what this PUBG update has to offer players!

Ranked Mode Penalties

There have been some new Ranked Mode penalties implements into the game; leaver penalties should be waived for players who are still ALIVE and leave within 5 minutes after the plane takes off if the player:

  • Chooses for matchmaking to find them teammates
  • The plane takes off with an incomplete team (teams of less than 4 players in Ranked squad mode)
  • A member of the player’s premade team hasn’t left the match before the plane leaves

These penalties should be waived for all players if all 3 of the above requirements are met. If these requirements are met and a player is qualified to have their penalties waived, the match is then considered competitively invalid meaning:

  • No stats are recorded on their Career page
  • No change is made to their RP
  • No matchmaking penalties are issued
  • Players will be granted any Pass XP and BP they would have earned as normal

There’s a brand new vehicle available in PUBG Update 10.2. The Coupe RB is the latest vehicle to make its way to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. It has a max capacity of 2 (Driver, Passenger), max speed of 150km/h, and spawns only on Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok.

This update also includes the addition of Vehicle Emotes that allow players to emote while in the air using Motorbikes.

Reputation System

This new PUBG update also includes a brand new feature known as the “Reputation System.” This system will assign you a Reputation Level from 0-5 depending on how you treat your fellow players.

This will be displayed in the Team Finder and will give players searching for a group an idea of what kind of player you’ll end up being. Your Reputation Level will increase naturally as you play games, so long as you’re not displaying toxic or similar behavior such as:

  • Leaving a match repeatedly and failing to return
  • Being reported for negative behavior (obstructing gameplay, verbal abuse, team killing, etc.)
  • Violating Terms of Service
