The developers of Detroit: Become Human and Heavy Rain, Quantic Dream, are currently the focus of a rumour that hints they may have a Star Wars project lined up for us.

As always, this is only a rumour and should be taken with caution, however, multiple facts point towards a Quantic Dream Star Wars game.

Here’s everything we know so far about the project.

French streamer on the Quantic Dream Star Wars project

Indeed, French streamer and YouTuber, Gautoz, explained during one of his streams that Quantic Dream is currently in the process of clearing up and keeping its slate clean due to what appears to be a recent contract with Disney.

This would follow Quantic Dream’s recent break away from Sony exclusive releases. In a recent interview with DualShockers, founder of the studio, David Cage, said that the company had been thinking about expanding for quite some time and not being tied to Sony would allow them to reach gamers across the world.

DualShockers and Twitter on the new Star Wars rumour

DualShockers also provided some explanation on the Quantic Dream Star Wars project. Insider knowledge over at DualShockers said they obtained “overwhelming evidence” that Quantic Dream had already been working on the project for 18 months. Whether this is true or not is yet to be revealed.

More interestingly though, is that Quantic Dream’s official Twitter account recently liked then deleted a tweet regarding the Star Wars rumours.

Nothing is confirmed yet and only time will tell if the award-winning developers are actually taking on the Disney title. Indeed, that is all we know so far about Quantic Dream’s Star Wars project, however, we heavily enjoyed Beyond Two Souls and Detroit Become Human, so we are excited to see if these rumours come true.
