Ahead of the Resident Evil Village Showcase presentation, Humble Bundle have accidentally leaked the multiplayer mode that’s coming with the game. Resident Evil Re:Verse is being labelled a separate title from Resident Evil Village on the Humble Bundle listing.
Although it is primarily a single-player franchise, Resident Evil has found some moderate success with it’s implementation of co-operative gameplay in the past. It’s dedicated multiplayer games, however, less so.
Resident Evil Village Multiplayer Titled Re:Verse
The leak was first spotted by Twitter user @Edward_Outcast and since shared by Gematsu. You can find the information below:
The Standard Edition of Resident Evil Village will include the base game and Resident Evil Re:Verse, the multiplayer mode that is coming alongside it.
Meanwhile, the Special Edition of Resident Evil Village will also come with the Trauma Pack. This pack includes the following:
- Samurai Edge Weapon
- Mr Everywhere Accessory
- An additional screen filter
- Special “Safe Room” background music
- “Many More items to amplify your Resident Evil Village experience”
In addition to this information, a number of Pre-Order Bonuses have been leaked in the same listing.
If you pre-order Resident Evil Village, you can look forward to the following:
- Mr. Raccoon Weapon Charm
- Survival Resources Pack
- Resident Evil Village Mini Soundtrack
Resident Evil Village follows on from the events established through Resident Evil 7 Biohazard. Ethan and Mia are living peacefully in a new place, hoping to move on from the nightmares they have suffered. However, a new tragedy befalls them…
There is no news on how Resident Evil Re:Verse ties into this, if at all.
Are you looking forward to Resident Evil Village? Are you a fan of the new direction the series is taking after 4, 5, and 6?
