To kick off the recent PlayStation Showcase event, a short trailer revealed that Star Wars Knights Of The Old Republic Remake is officially in development.

The trailer was only around 30 seconds long, and it didn’t showcase any gameplay. All we got to see was a cloaked figure with a lightsaber, likely Darth Reven, with a voiceover explaining that the Jedi are about to face the most powerful Sith they’ve ever encountered.

2023 will mark the 20th anniversary of the game’s original release, so that could point to a release window for the Knights Of The Old Republic Remake, but nothing has been confirmed so far.

The trailer did say that it is a “Legend Remade On PS5”, but it wasn’t stated whether the game will be a PS5 exclusive, so it is likely that it will also be released on PC, and potentially Xbox too.
