Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 now has official Switch release date

Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 and 2 Switch

While we have known for a while now that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 would be coming to the Nintendo Switch, we now know the exact date it will be released, thanks to a tweet from Nintendo of America.

That’s right, the classic games will be coming to the Nintendo Switch on June 25. While we have known since February that the game would be making its way to the platform eventually, we were unsure exactly when it would be arriving until now.

The game has already been released on other current gen consoles, including the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, which arrived on the platforms on March 26.

The wait is well worth it, though, especially if you have strong nostalgia for the original PlayStation games. You are able to preorder Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 for the Switch right now through multiple retailers, and the game currently runs for $39.99, which is not a bad deal at all for two games.

While the game will look more visually stunning on other platforms, it will still look amazing on the Switch and gives you the option to play in handheld mode.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 will feature all of the content from the original games, with some added new content. This includes some new pro skaters added to the roster, upgraded features for Create-A-Park and Create-A-Skater, online multiplayer, and much more.

The game will also include the original soundtrack as well as some new songs added. The ports have been worked on by Vicarious Visions, which is an added bonus as they have worked on Tony Hawk titles before.
